A little about this position:
- Provides safe and efficient operation of lifts through correct maintenance and repair.
- Supervises overall maintenance programs as well as lift construction.
Requirements:
- Yan and Doppelmayer experience required
- Advanced technical experience such as rigging for splices and destructive testing using multiple techniques
- Engineering background a plus and state engineering certificate a plus
- Outside operations experience a plus
- Heavy equipment certification a plus – Crane, Class A, or Class B
- Has demonstrated effective training, coaching, and correcting required.
- Master mechanic in one or several lift systems such as electrical, drive, or mechanical.
- Ability to manage budgets and capital projects associated with lift construction and maintenance required.
- Must be able to spend 80% of working hours outdoors with crews.
- Developed, coordinated, scheduled summer maintenance plans for both fixed grip and detachable lifts
- Recruit and hire lift maintenance personnel.
- Can develop working relationship with State Tramway Board and firm understanding of state requirements preferred
- Strong familiarity and working knowledge with OSHA and safety practices
- Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, and email
Pay: $85,489.17 - $90,916.88 per year
