Job Summary:

Perform routine maintenance tasks using various equipment, tools, and supplies. Routine tasks may include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall. Workers may be required to use cleaning chemicals/substances and automotive supplies.

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in property management or a related field
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with no more than five (5) points; driving abstracts will be reviewed upon hire and every six (6) months thereafter
• Must have a cell phone compatible with Upkeep and TCP mobile app to clock in and out of work if applicable
• Pass criminal background checks, the central registry, LEIE, and drug testing
• Pass monthly background screenings

Essential Job Functions:

• Work effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds and show genuine respect for others
• Complete all duties and special projects assigned by the COO
• Perform preventive maintenance on CODI properties and ensure all equipment and fixtures are in good operating condition
• Use Upkeep mobile app to keep records of maintenance activities performed including date, activity, and property location
• Ensure all tools are secure in assigned vehicles
