Description
Job Description
The ICE Internship Program offers a dynamic opportunity to combine hands-on, impactful work on projects that shape our business, alongside practical career and professional development. You'll build meaningful connections, strengthen your interpersonal skills, and contribute in ways that truly make a difference.
Beyond your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and deepen your understanding of the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries.
The Systems Operations Analyst Intern will support a global systems operations team with incident monitoring, operational reporting, and documentation, while leading a procedure testing and refresh initiative.
Responsibilities
- Own a scoped procedure testing and refresh effort. You’ll validate existing runbooks against live systems, rewrite them so any shift can execute them without tribal knowledge, and present your results to Systems Operations leadership at the end of the program.
- Assist with monitoring dashboards during business-hours shift coverage and help triage low-severity tickets under supervision.
- Pull and organize data from ServiceNow to support operational reporting, including incident trends and deployment and change activity.
- Contribute to automation and AI initiatives by testing workflows, documenting processes, and helping build smaller components.
- Join incident bridge calls and team meetings across shifts and locations to learn how a global systems ops team runs a live exchange environment.
Knowledge and Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related degree program, advancing to at least junior year, or a recent graduate
- Clear technical writing skills, with the ability to turn multi-step processes into accurate, easy-to-follow documentation
- Coursework or project experience with SQL, Python, or similar for working with data
- Solid Excel skills and comfort learning new tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment
Internship Program Schedule
To accommodate varying academic calendars, the ICE Internship Program offers two schedule options:
- Option 1: May 24 – August 6
- Option 2: June 7 – August 20
Candidates will be asked to select their preferred session during the application process.
Please Note: Interns must be available to work full-time, five days a week, at our Atlanta office for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules. Partial participation or alternate dates cannot be accommodated.
