Description
smartdept. is searching for an Analytics & Reporting Specialist for a growth and transformation consultancy serving ecommerce, retail, and DTC brands. This is a fully remote, ongoing freelance contract opportunity.
You'll set up tracking and build the reporting that marketing teams use to make decisions, working alongside senior growth leads.
What You'll Do:
- Set up and maintain GA4 properties and events
- Implement tracking and tags in Google Tag Manager
- Build custom dashboards in Looker Studio or similar tools
- Pull and clean data across ad platforms and analytics
- Create recurring performance reports
- Spot trends and share clear takeaways with the team
What You'll Need:
- Hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Experience building marketing dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar
- Strong spreadsheet skills
- Ability to explain data in plain language
- Comfort using AI tools to work faster
- Clear, reliable communication
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Ecommerce tracking and Shopify analytics
- Ad platform reporting for Google and Meta
- SQL or BigQuery
- Server-side tagging
