Provides technical guidance on a wide range of environmental matters impacted by company operations and assets; provides advice in the environmental areas of air, water, waste, soil and groundwater. Performs site assessments, tests to ensure that safeguards are in place and aligned with company risk guidelines and regulatory requirements. Verifies that environmental issues are addressed and mitigation measures are implemented. Manages environmental monitoring and reporting. The Environmental Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing environmental compliance strategies and technical solutions across Chevron operations and projects. The role provides subject matter expertise on air emissions, water management, waste management, and environmental compliance requirements while partnering with stakeholders across the business to identify risks, improve performance, and ensure regulatory obligations are met.

The Environmental Engineer works closely with Operations, Wells, Major Capital Projects, Maintenance, Facilities Engineering, HSE, Regulatory Affairs, and external regulators to support environmentally responsible and compliant operations.

Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies for air emissions, water management, waste management, and other key environmental aspects to ensure compliance with regulatory approvals, environmental legislation, and company requirements.
