Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to partner production sites on technical and process-related issues to help stabilize operations.
Act as the technical point of contact for technical disruptions, quality deviations, and unstable processes in day-to-day operations.
Independently resolve technical and process-related issues and implement minor improvements within existing guidelines, standards, and areas of responsibility.
Coordinate the Dual Source process from initial request through final approval.
Provide professional support to the Team Leader in day-to-day operations during their absence, without assuming disciplinary responsibilities.
Participate in shop floor meetings and LPMS reviews by contributing technical expertise, recommendations, and feedback.
Support root cause analyses and assist in the implementation and follow-up of agreed corrective actions.
Contribute to lean, quality, and occupational health & safety initiatives and support compliance with established standards.
Be willing to travel on business to support partner production sites.
Qualifications:
Completed technical vocational training.
Successfully completed further training as an Industrial Foreman (Industriemeister) or an equivalent higher-level technical qualification.
Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production, ideally in the plastics or elastomer industry.
Very good understanding of production equipment, technical systems, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Good written and spoken English skills at a minimum B1 level.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge of SAP.
