In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Job Family Definition:

The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems.

Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.

Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements.

The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.


Management Level Definition:

Contributions include applying developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommending alternatives where necessary. Might act as project lead and provide assistance to lower level professionals. Exercises independent judgment and consults with others to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.


What you will do:

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain user interfaces for web applications
  • Develop responsive interactive user interfaces using modern UI technologies
  • Work with UX team on designs and wireframes
  • Translating UX designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Test and troubleshoot user interfaces features & functionalities and  react code
  • Create/Construct visualizations that are able to depicting vast amounts of data
  • Build reusable, extensible web components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Optimize components for maximum performance while handling the large and complex data
  • Collaborate with other developer teams to discuss user interface applications and ideas
  • Work closely with customers/clients, web designers, and project managers to create strong and effective applications
  • Analyses the feature specifications and determines the required coding, testing, and integration activities.
  • Identifies debugs and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive test plans for features adhering to performance, scale, usability, and security requirements.
  • Contributes towards innovation and integration of new technologies into projects.

What you will need to bring:


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalently. Master’s desirable.
  • Minimum 7 years’ of UI development experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in Web application UI development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS, Node js
  • Extensive knowledge of ReactJS, TSX/JSX, Data Structures, and algorithms
  • Developing applications in React including component design and state management for specific use cases
  • Excellent front-end coding skills
  • Hands-on experience in building reusable, extensible web components and front-end libraries, etc
  • Good understanding of progressive web applications and micro-frontend architectures.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and micro-services
  • Knowledge of modern authentication & authorization mechanisms, such as SSO and Non-SSO, etc
  • Experience in writing optimised, secured programs
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Fast learning and adapting to new technology skills
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools – JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc.
  • Good understanding of distributed systems, event-driven programming paradigms, and designing for scale and performance.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and agile in a changing environment.
