Role Description
Performs a wide range of human resource duties including management of employee benefits, recruiting of associates, timekeeping and payroll activities, advising team leaders and managers on interpretation and application of policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Job Duties:
Manage the recruitment process for new associates including coordinating with contract agencies, ensuring adherence to company hiring protocols, and verifying all necessary documentation is collected and properly filed prior to the new hire’s start date.
Assist in the facilitation of the hiring and termination processes, including conducting interviews, processing offer letters, and handling exit procedures in accordance with company policies.
Ensure company compliance with applicable HR and employee benefit regulations. Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee records, including personnel files and payroll system data
Monitor leave of absence requests, ensuring necessary documentation is submitted. Coordinate the necessary premium payments with payroll and the associate. Accurately log time away from work, including tracking FMLA and other leave.
Manage timekeeping and attendance system as required.
Coordinate the enrollment and disenrollment in various Company sponsored employee benefits.
Prepare 5500 filing information and summary annual reports (distribute SAR’s as mandated).
Coordinate the performance review process by preparing review documents, tracking submission deadlines, and ensuring timely completion of all evaluations.
Prepare all required injury logs for workers’ compensation needs and OSHA requirements. Prepare all required reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or three years of Human Resources experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate possess excellent problem solving, conflict resolution, organizational and time-management skills, as well as effective written and oral communication. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Working knowledge of HR Policies including FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation and other HR related laws and policies.
