As the organization continues to grow, they are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to contribute across key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This opportunity offers broad exposure to the employee lifecycle and is well suited to an HR professional looking to build a strong foundation while making a meaningful contribution to the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
As the Human Resources Generalist, you will provide administrative and program support across key HR functions while serving as an important resource for employees, candidates, and hiring managers.
HR Administration & Recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HRIS systems.
- Process personnel transactions including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and required documentation.
- Maintain records in accordance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
- Generate standard HR reports and metrics as required.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
- Support job postings and applicant tracking system activities.
- Facilitate onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and orientation.
- Partner with hiring managers to support a positive candidate and onboarding experience.
Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Provide guidance on routine matters and escalate more complex issues when necessary.
- Assist with employee engagement programs and initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive and professional employee experience.
Benefits, Payroll & Leave Administration
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee questions.
- Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate employee information and timely processing.
- Assist with leave-of-absence tracking and related documentation.
Compliance & Reporting
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Support HR compliance initiatives, including EEO, I-9, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping practices.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting activities.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or HR-related experience.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or progress toward a professional HR certification.
- Experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll processes.
