Senior Director, Marketing Transformation & Change Management
Fixed-Term Contract, 16 Months. U.S Based.
We're looking for a Change Management Lead to provide maternity cover across change management and enablement for the marketing organization. The role has a heavy focus on AI transformation — leading change for new AI tools, agents, and ways of working — but the scope extends across marketing's wider change portfolio, including process, operating model, and organizational change initiatives as they arise.
This is a hands-on role spanning strategic communications, executive stakeholder management, and delivery of enablement materials across whichever change initiatives are active at a given time.
The role sits within Transformation & Enablement, part of the Marketing Data & AI Centre of Excellence.
Responsibilities
Change portfolio management
- Lead change management across marketing's active change portfolio — AI tool and agent rollouts, process changes, operating model shifts, and organizational transitions as they arise
- Prioritize and sequence change initiatives against team capacity and business calendar, given multiple concurrent workstreams
- Apply structured change frameworks to scope impact, plan enablement, and track adoption, adapting the approach to the size and nature of each change
- Identify and flag change risks early — including gaps in sponsorship, readiness, or reinforcement — rather than letting them surface post-launch
AI transformation (primary focus area)
- Lead change management specifically for AI tool and agent adoption within marketing, including pilot rollouts and scaled deployments
- Build and maintain change frameworks and enablement patterns tailored to introducing AI capabilities to marketing teams
- Plan and facilitate recurring AI-focused forums (e.g. quarterly marketing-wide AI update calls)
Executive and stakeholder engagement
- Manage relationships with senior marketing stakeholders, including the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team, across the full change portfolio
- Draft executive-level communications on transformation initiatives, tooling decisions, and program updates
Enablement and communications delivery
- Build branded enablement materials — decks, talk tracks, session recaps, and training content — for a range of audiences from SME testers to leadership, across whichever initiatives are live
- Work in partnership with our Marketing Internal Communications lead to collaborate on building out communications: beta invites, rollout comms, leadership updates, and post-session recaps
- Adapt communication and training approaches to the type of change — a tool rollout, a process change, and a structural change each need a different playbook
Cross-functional partnership
- Work closely with SMEs, process owners, and pilot representatives across marketing to support rollouts of all kinds, not only AI-related ones
- Partner with project/delivery teams early enough to shape timelines and readiness plans, not just communicate decisions after the fact
Team Structure
- This role reports into our Head of Marketing Data & AI.
- You will lead and coordinate an offshore Change Management specialist in India who will support with all Marketing change initiatives
- You will also be supported by an offshore instructional designer who will assist with designing and building training and enablement materials
Required Knowledge & Experience
- 10+ years proven experience in change management across a range of change types — not only technology rollouts, but also process and organizational change
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including comfort operating with senior/executive audiences
- Excellent written communication — able to write clearly and directly, without relying on corporate jargon or overstatement
- Experience designing and building structured enablement or training materials
- Ability to run multiple concurrent change initiatives of varying size and adapt approach accordingly
- Comfort working with ambiguity, particularly around emerging AI/agentic tools where processes are still being defined
- Familiarity with a change management framework (e.g. ADKAR/Prosci, or a comparable structured model)
- Experience leading change within marketing and marketing technology is desirable
