Location: Midlands or North West based (uk travel) 
Salary: £75,000–£100,000 + Company Car

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Access & Scaffolding to lead and drive the growth of a scaffolding business specialising in access solutions for the solar energy industry.

Working in partnership with a leading energy company, the business has ambitious growth plans and a strong pipeline of projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded leader to take ownership of the access and scaffolding operation, lead delivery, and play a key role in the company's continued expansion.

The Role

As Head of Access & Scaffolding, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of projects nationwide.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing the access and scaffolding business, driving operational performance and growth.
• Overseeing the planning, mobilisation and delivery of scaffolding and access solutions across multiple projects.
• Managing client relationships, working closely with key stakeholders within the solar and renewable energy sectors.
• Driving health, safety, quality and compliance standards across all operations.
• Managing budgets, project costs, margins and overall commercial performance.
• Building and developing high-performing teams, including operational management
• Ensuring resources, equipment and workforce capacity are aligned with the growing project pipeline.

 

About You

We are looking for an established leader within the Renewable Energy or Scaffolding sector who can combine strong operational management with commercial awareness and a growth-focused mindset.

You will ideally have:

• A proven track record of leading teams and managing multiple projects or operational functions.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budget management, cost control and profitability.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering projects across multiple locations.
• A strong understanding of health and safety requirements within scaffolding and construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to build a strong operational platform to support a growing business.
• Experience within the renewable energy or solar sector would be advantageous.

• Salary: £75,000–£100,000, depending on experience.
