Lead a Great Team. Support Quality Patient Care. Grow Your Leadership Career.
Copley Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead our Clinical Laboratory Services department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced laboratory professional who is passionate about leadership, team development, quality, and patient care.
We are looking for a leader who understands hospital laboratory operations and can effectively support a team of skilled laboratory professionals. The ideal candidate will possess broad knowledge across multiple laboratory disciplines and be comfortable serving as a resource to staff while remaining engaged in departmental operations.
This position is primarily focused on leadership, quality, compliance, regulatory oversight, employee development, and operational management. While routine bench coverage is not a primary responsibility, candidates with strong hospital laboratory experience, the ability to maintain laboratory competency, and a willingness to provide operational support when needed are highly desirable.
One of the most unique aspects of this opportunity is the transition support available to the successful candidate. Our current Laboratory Director will provide mentorship, guidance, and knowledge transfer to ensure a successful transition and continued departmental success.
Whether you are an experienced laboratory leader or a strong laboratory professional ready to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
This is a Full-Time position (PT options available).
Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs. Please consider applying to discuss how your availability may align.
A cover letter is required for this position. Applications submitted without a cover letter will be considered incomplete and may not move forward in the selection process. Please make sure your cover letter answers these three questions:
1. What is your interest in working for Copley Hospital?
2. Why are you looking to change positions at this time in your career?
3. Why do you want to work in this part of the country/state (Morrisville/Stowe, Vermont)?
Compensation: $89,000-104,000/year.
