Overview
PepsiCo Cybersecurity is seeking a highly experienced Data Security Analyst to join the Threat Defense team in Security Engineering and Architecture. The successful candidate will help lead the design, deployment, optimization and maintenance of enterprise-scale security observability solutions. This role is ideal for a technical candidate who thrives at the intersection of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, automation, and data engineering. You will play a key role in strengthening threat detection and security operations by building reliable, scalable, and intelligent observability capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities
- 5+ years experience of complex data pipeline management and optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of Google, AWS or Azure services, with the ability to integrate and optimize their use.
- Experience optimizing the performance and reliability of data pipelines and observability tools.
- Advanced Python scripting skills and experience with automation tools.
- Advanced knowledge of GitHub Actions, including ability to modify Actions.
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform, with experience in designing and implementing complex infrastructure as code solutions. Ability to deploy multi resource terraform code.
- Ability to develop comprehensive reports and insights for senior management using Miro, Markdown, and ADO Wiki.

- Lead the deployment and optimization of observability tools.
- Optimize the performance and reliability of data pipelines and observability tools.
- Develop comprehensive reports and insights for senior management.
- Mentor mid-level engineers and lead team training sessions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the overall architecture for security observability.
- Develop strategies for scaling observability solutions across the organization.
- Perform advanced data analysis and leverage machine learning to enhance threat detection capabilities. Develop models to predict and mitigate security risks.
- Influence and drive observability practices across multiple departments and business units.
- Advocate for observability best practices within the organization.
- Solve complex observability and security challenges.
- Develop reports for executive leadership and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits:• The expected starting compensation range for this position is 278,800 PLN annually (gross).• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
