YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We’re looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join our Tools Technology team in Easton, Pennsylvania. Victaulic’s Tools Technology team designs the machines that groove, cut, and prepare pipe on job sites around the world, developing the next generation of electro-mechanical tools, continuously improving our existing product line, and taking designs from concept through certification and release. In this role, you’ll own electro-mechanical design work across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, and see your designs built, tested, and used in the field.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN

  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems for new and existing machines.
  • Create and evaluate concepts, prototypes, and design solutions.
  • Integrate motors, drivetrains, batteries, electronics, and sensors into product designs.
  • Develop control strategies and troubleshoot control systems, including PLC programs and HMI interfaces where applicable.
  • Develop engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, BOMs, and test plans.
  • Conduct product testing, analyze results, and implement design improvements.
  • Support design reviews, risk assessments (such as DFMEA), and product validation activities.
  • Work with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to specify, procure, and qualify components and vendor-supplied equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable global safety and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with third-party test labs for product certifications.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in product development, design engineering, or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Experience designing or integrating motors, drivetrains, sensors, or power systems.
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Approximately 10% domestic and international travel required, with a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing, laboratory, and industrial environments, and to lift within nationally approved EHS limits.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Experience with power tools, portable equipment, robotics, automated machinery, or manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panel design, PLC programming, HMI systems, and automation troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of global machinery and product safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with DFMEA, GD&T, or PDM/PLM systems.

WHAT WE OFFER

Build A Better Career

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives
  • Career development programs and internal promotion pathways—we build from within
  • Tuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunities

Build A Better Future

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement savings plans with company match
  • Life insurance and disability coverage

Build A Better You

  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicable
  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness resources
  • Inclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one another

Build A Better World

Join a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.
