As we expand across the globe, we’re seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth, build partnerships, and represent Modmacon’s vision at the heart of the global gaming ecosystem.
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow Modmacon’s client base across Europe. You’ll build lasting partnerships with game developers and publishers, identify new opportunities, and represent Modmacon at major gaming events globally. This is a strategic role that requires both entrepreneurial drive and deep understanding of the gaming production ecosystem.
What you will be doing
Market Strategy
- Analyze gaming trends to uncover new opportunities in mobile game art.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns.
Lead Generation & Partnerships
- Identify and engage potential clients in the mobile gaming sector.
- Represent Modmacon at key industry events (Gamescom, GDC, Nordic Game, etc.).
Sales & Negotiation
- Deliver compelling pitches showcasing Modmacon’s capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts that foster long-term growth and partnerships.
- Meet or exceed revenue goals.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring quality delivery and satisfaction.
- Gather feedback, identify upselling opportunities, and strengthen client relationships.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with art and production teams to align on client expectations.
- Share market insights to keep Modmacon’s art styles competitive and on trend.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track sales pipelines, performance metrics, and revenue outcomes.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
What You Bring
- 5–8 years’ experience in BD, sales, or account management within gaming or game art production.
- Proven record of driving sales growth and managing key client accounts.
- Degree in International Business Management, Marketing, or Sales/ Strategic Management (or a related field).
- Fluent English; other European languages are a plus.
- Strong network, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for gaming and knowledge of industry trends.
- Willingness to travel across Europe for meetings and events.
- Strong understanding of outsourcing models, production pipelines, and art
- production processes.
