JOB SUMMARY
OCX is part of Omnicom Production. We lead production management for top advertising clients in partnership with Omnicom creative agencies (i.e., BBDO, TWBA, McCann). We are looking for an Associate Producer to join our production management team to support the development and delivery of high-quality creative work.
An Associate Producer at OCX is an emerging professional who is building experience across all aspects of creative production. You are organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with an interest in understanding how great creative work is made. You’ll work closely with experienced producers and cross-functional agency teams, developing the skills needed to manage increasingly complex productions over time.
Your day-to-day will include supporting Senior and Executive Producers in the execution of projects from creative development through final delivery. You’ll help coordinate schedules, budgets, vendors, meetings, production logistics, approvals, and deliverables while keeping teams organized and projects moving forward. As your experience grows, you’ll take ownership of defined aspects of production and smaller projects under the guidance of senior production leadership.
Typical projects span broadcast television (TVC), online video (OLV), social and digital content, and proof-of-concept video for consumer research and testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Senior and Executive Producers to support projects throughout the production process, from creative development through final delivery.
- Coordinate day-to-day workflows using OCX tools and systems.
- Support project organization and asset management, including setting up project folders and naming conventions; uploading, downloading, and organizing working files and assets; maintaining project records; and archiving completed projects.
- Support quality control of final content and deliverables, checking technical specifications, formatting, accuracy, completeness, and alignment with approved creative prior to delivery.
- Maintain and update production resources and databases, including vendor and talent information.
- Assist producers with production logistics, documentation, meetings, estimates, schedules, approvals, and other project needs as assigned.
- Help ensure project teams have accurate, up-to-date information and that key production milestones, approvals, and deliverables stay on track.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience in advertising, production, post-production, content, or a related creative environment.
- Strong interest in advertising and content production, with a desire to build a career as a producer.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborating with creative, account, production, and other cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving. Comfortable identifying what needs to happen next, asking questions, and escalating issues to senior producers when appropriate.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style, including the ability to receive feedback, communicate professionally, and build productive relationships with internal teams and external production partners.
- Ability to remain composed and organized as project needs, timelines, and priorities change.
- High level of attention to detail, particularly when reviewing project information, production materials, assets, and final deliverables.
- Familiarity with advertising production workflows is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable learning and working within production management, project management, and digital asset management systems.
