Marvin, a premier window and door manufacturer in North America, is opening a new distribution center in Reno, NV. We're looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you’ll focus on employee relations, engagement, benefits, training, and safety as you and other leaders create a positive culture at our new location. You’ll work closely with local leadership plus our Total Rewards, Communications and Culture, and Leadership Development teams.

Your Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm at our Reno, NV location.

Highlights of your role

• Provide mentorship and counsel to the HR team, developing team members and maintaining cohesion and consistency across the team.
• Proactively address employee complaints/concerns in a confidential and appropriately urgent manner, providing resolution of employee relations issues
• Manage and support programs and events designed to improve workplace culture, positively impacting recruitment and retention.
• Ensure efforts around employee recruitment and retention are performed to expectations and meet business needs
• Coordinate HR manners including unemployment claims, accommodations, work restrictions, and return to works

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of in a Human Resources Business Partner role preferred
• Professional certification preferred (SHRM, PHR, SPHR, etc.)

• Ability to manage information with integrity and confidentiality
• Ability to work successfully as both an independent contributor and team member
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong digital literacy
