Periodontist Job in Charleston, SC | Surgical Focus with Built-In Referrals and Equity Path

Join a growing group in the Charleston area as its in-house periodontist, with a full surgical schedule from day one

This doctor-led, multi-location group keeps periodontics in-house. Referrals flow directly from established offices, so you step into an existing patient base rather than building from zero. The role is surgically focused, with a strong emphasis on flap and osseous surgery, and offers a clear path to an investment opportunity for the right fit.

Key Features

• Compensation: Up to 38% adjusted production
• Production: Established, will provide numbers if requested
• Schedule: Up to 32 hours chairside
• Patient volume: 5 to 10 patients per day, giving you time for quality surgical care
• Clinical focus: High volume of flap and osseous surgery with assisted procedures
• Surgical support: A nurse assists on larger cases
• Referral growth: Built-in referrals, plus the opportunity to develop outside referrals
• Equity: Growth into an investment opportunity for the right fit

Why Consider This?

A full surgical schedule without the startup grind. You focus on surgery while the group supplies the patients, with room to grow outside referrals on top of that.

Ownership upside. This is more than an associate role. The right periodontist can grow into an investment position in a group that is expanding.

Balanced days. Shorter clinical shifts and a manageable patient count keep the pace sustainable while still delivering strong production.

Live in Charleston. Charleston is consistently ranked among the top cities in the U.S. to live and visit, with historic neighborhoods, a nationally recognized food scene, nearby beaches like Folly, Sullivan’s Island, and Isle of Palms, mild winters, and no shortage of boating, golf, and outdoor living. The region’s strong population growth continues to drive demand for specialty care.

Requirements

Board-eligible or board-certified periodontist. South Carolina dental license or eligibility to obtain one.
