About the role

• To provide next level technical support to backbone supervision centers by resolving low to medium complex proactive backbone network problems and contributing network performance business objectives   
• To provide next level technical assistance on the reactive incidents raised by global customer service centers and contribute to targeted customer satisfaction.

key accountabilities

• Provide next level technical support for Global customer service centers and Backbone supervision centers  by resolving low to medium complex backbone network problems referred to the team in an effective and timely manner keeping in view functional KPIs
• Identify Backbone network congestion issues and co-ordinate with Network planning and rollout  teams to ensure timely capacity upgrades To contribute to Network performance and customer satisfaction business objectives  by providing high quality second level technical support on all backbone network platforms and services in Orange Business Services
• To implement  assigned high impact and complex changes on the backbone network infrastructure while demonstrating highest adherence to network change management procedures
• Generate “Technical Incident Reports” for major network incidents and problems
• Provision IMN & OTI services( vpn, ipsec, internet etc.)  over Orange OGN network

About you

knowledge and abilities

• Excellent knowledge of communication standards and OSI/commercial protocols as follows:
• Network Technologies – IP-MPLS, ISP (Open Transit) Netowrk, IMN Services , IS-IS,  OSPF, BGP4, M-BGP, U-NNI, Type A/B/C NNI,
• Basic understanding of SDWAN, SDN network and Segment Routing
• Professioanl level knowledge and hands on troubleshooting experience on more than one of the following technologies:•    CISCO ASR/IOS   Routers /,•    Cisco Catalyst Switches •    Juniper Routers   •    NSO and similar nerowrk orchestration tools•    Network & Service Provisioning of mpls VPN, IPsec, GRE and other IP services over internet/mpls.•    Excellent Analytical and trouble-shooting skills•    Good understanding of Telecom Service providers Networks and Services
