Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Services in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a residential location, you will welcome residents and visitors, manage access control, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment while supporting security-related needs with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and screen visitors, verify authorizations, issue visitor passes and/or access credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Answer telephone calls, receive and route deliveries, provide directions and property information, and assist residents and guests with routine front desk inquiries.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, report unusual activity or maintenance concerns, and document incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
