The Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and coordination of various Talent Acquisition functions including but not limited to: recruitment/employment, onboarding, and Human Resource Information Systems administration.Job Description:
How will you make an impact?
- Participates in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel.
- Provides information regarding company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
- Assists in onboarding process by tracking completion of background checks and assisting new hires in getting all required employment documentation completed.
- Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
- Conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies, reducing turnover, and creating positive relationships with employees.
- Handles confidential information in a professional manner, respecting employee privacy while maintaining company confidentiality.
- Maintains compliance with federal, states, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Administration of the applicant tracking system and learning management system. Maintains recruiting and training records as required. Compiles reports from system database.
What will you bring to the role?
- Knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality operations, customer oriented, strong time management skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- HRIS. ATS, and/or LMS experience a plus.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish languages a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite), computer hardware and computer servers.
- High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential personnel matters and documentation.
- Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and writing communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
What are the physical requirements?
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position requires the ability to lift, carry, and push office products and supplies, up to 20 lbs.
