We are looking for a Finance Intern to support our team and gain hands-on experience in finance processes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to daily activities, collaborate with the team, and develop valuable skills in a professional environment.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Automate business analyst workflows that depend on downloading/uploading data between systems and Excel reports due to missing interfaces and data connectivity
- Create an NFI data repository for planning scenarios that connects data currently only available in Excel
- Use automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and AI solutions (e.g. Copilot or Claude), where suitable, to minimize manual tasks and create shared workspaces
- Plan to Perform: Reduction of manual business analysis tasks to maximise time spent on analysis. Create a generally usable data repository supporting multiple planning scenarios
- Record-to-Report: Support a more standardized process by creating a repository and collaborative workspace accessible to the entire team and giving FP&A access to data currently only available to specialists
Deliver automated workflows for:
- Updating closing reports using SAP and NFI reports
- Creating NFI reports and presentation slides for Month-End Closing, Budget and QBR
- Creating a shared AI-enabled workspace where questions can easily be answered
YOUR SKILLS:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Interest in Data Science, working with large datasets, and the ability to understand and structure unknown datasets
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools
- Willingness to learn AI and business tools such as SAP, SAP Business Warehouse and Qlik Sense
- Fast learner with a high level of curiosity
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
