About You
We are seeking an Android Developer with at least three years of professional experience in Android development to design, implement, and maintain high-performance, reliable software systems. The role involves working across the full development lifecycle, with emphasis on efficient algorithms, robust system design, and maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for Android.
- Participate in system architecture and design discussions.
- Debug, profile, and optimise applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, and product stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Experience with both Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with both Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.
- Experience with background services, storage, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, REST and JSON APIS, and web frameworks such as Angular.
- Experience with TCP and UDP socket programming, and Android's networking stack.
- Experience with hardware interfacing.
- Experience with additional languages (e.g. Python, C#) or platforms (Linux, Windows)
