Advises with hiring managers/business leaders and human resources to implement the talent acquisition process and understand the talent acquisition strategy for hiring needs at within area of responsibility;
Educates business leadership within the organization as to the recruiting process; acts as advisor and consultant to the business and identifies passive candidates by direct sourcing, cold-calling, strategic sourcing for hiring managers and leaders; sets minimum standards in determining the appropriate slate of candidates and makes recommendations to the hiring manager as to the best qualified candidates.
Participates in regional and national business leader and human resource meetings; acts as a key liaison for TA with the business.
Educates hiring teams, business leaders and human resources on national talent acquisition best practices, interviewing processes and expectations through utilization of established materials such as Service Level Agreement (SLA), Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s), Client Engagement meeting, Interview guides, etc.
Assigns, manages, directs and evaluates the work of a team of recruiting professionals to ensure current and future business hiring needs are met in a timely, effective and cost efficient professional manner; leads by example providing clear direction, coaching and mentoring; hires, disciplines and terminates employees; conducts performance evaluations and career development discussions; approves salary and bonus actions; ensures appropriate orientation and on-going education/training; also mentors and coaches other recruiters about the talent acquisition process, procedures, tools and candidate sourcing.
Maintains applicant tracking database integrity and follows national recruiting policy and processes and all applicable laws; converts candidates to the appropriate status in applicant tracking system throughout the talent acquisition process to ensure accurate reporting.
Ensures a consistently positive and professional experience for each candidate by managing the candidate expectations and timing from selection to offer acceptance: regularly updates the candidate by phone or email and notifies of selection process and next step provides timely feedback to the candidate regarding status in the hiring process.
