Summary:
The person in this position is primarily responsible for the complete management of all company and project-specific inventories. They also contribute to the smooth execution of material shipments for various departments and play a key role in meeting deadlines and ensuring delivery quality.
Tasks:
- Ensure accurate management of internal and external inventories, including required system adjustments;
- Perform weekly cycle counts and the annual inventory, in collaboration with the Finance department during audits;
- Receive goods, including verification of quantities and documentation accuracy;
- Pick, prepare, and deliver parts for production lines, projects, and customer shipments;
- Receive and process shipping requests, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information;
- Validate delivery requirements with internal and external customers and follow up on shipment dates;
- Track borrowed parts, missing parts, and returns;
- Manage obsolete inventory in accordance with established principles (e.g., FIFO) and perform required inventory transfers;
- Open, process, and follow up on purchase orders, NCRs, and related inventory movements;
- Participate in the management of hazardous materials in compliance with applicable procedures and standards;
- Provide logistical support to other sites, as needed;
- Contribute to sample management;
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department;
- Perform any other related tasks associated with warehouse operations.
Requisite Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent relevant experience.
- Functional English.
- Rigor, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong curiosity and a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, especially artificial intelligence.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate with various stakeholders.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn, especially regarding new technologies such as artificial intelligence.
