Description
This multi-faceted destination encompasses historic lodge accommodations, cozy cabins, high-volume food and beverage venues, diverse retail operations, guided hiking experiences, and popular boat and trolley tours. The General Manager will take full operational and strategic ownership of these diverse revenue streams, leading a dedicated team of 100 to 150 employees. Position Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational direction across lodging, food and beverage, retail, recreation, event execution, and facilities management.
- Drive site-wide financial performance through rigorous P&L oversight, revenue optimization, annual budgeting, expense control, and financial forecasting.
- Develop and execute creative marketing strategies, promotions, and strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth and enhance guest engagement across all business lines.
- Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented workplace culture by inspiring, coaching, and developing department heads and frontline staff.
- Ensure seamless operational integration across diverse business units, maintaining impeccable service standards, product quality, and site maintenance.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with local community partners, regulatory entities, vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, labor, hospitality, and liquor licensing regulations across all operations.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive multi-unit leadership experience within hospitality, resort, food & beverage, retail, or destination venue environments.
- At least 5 years of experience directly managing senior department heads and cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of managing complex P&Ls, budgets, revenue models, and multi-unit operational performance.
- Hands-on, approachable leadership style with a passion for employee development and guest service excellence.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with proficiency in modern hospitality technology and business management systems.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation Package Details
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Potential: Up to 20% annual bonus target based on performance metrics
