Position Summary
As the Vice President, Business Development, you will lead the charge in driving new business growth through strategic initiatives and innovative approaches. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of digital marketing and full-funnel media strategies to target enterprise-level clients across North America. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and nurturing a robust pipeline of potential clients, utilizing your extensive network of contacts to propel business development efforts to new heights.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough research, identify, and engage with new clients to effectively promote DAC's services.
- Establish and manage a qualified lead pipeline to not just meet but exceed new business targets.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to successful deal closure.
- Develop tailored strategies and marketing approaches in alignment with DAC Group's overarching philosophy and corporate strategy.
- Achieve income targets for new business based on local office operating plans.
- Identify market opportunities and strategically allocate internal resources to achieve new business objectives effectively.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of proven experience in new business development within the digital marketing, advertising, or media industry.
- Demonstrated success in consultative sales roles, consistently exceeding new business targets.
- The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of digital and traditional media channels, including paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, linear TV, print, radio, OOH, and more.
- Proficiency in web-based technologies for business advertising and digital lead generation services.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a knack for quick adaptation.
- Track record of preparing high-quality RFPs and engaging with C-level decision-makers in medium to large US-based companies.
- Strong business acumen to comprehend prospects across diverse industries.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- High-energy and client-centric mindset, with a history of delivering innovative solutions.
- University degree, preferably in business or marketing.
- Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.

Salary at DAC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $185,000 to $205,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for commission, making total compensation inclusive of both fixed and variable components. The estimate displayed represents the base salary range for this position and is just one component of DAC’s total compensation package for employees.
