Description
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst II to serve as a key connection between business operations and technology teams, helping identify opportunities, improve processes, and deliver technology solutions that support business growth.
This role will focus on ERP systems, process improvement, reporting/analytics, and operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, analyzing data, supporting system enhancements, and helping teams maximize the value of their technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and operational teams to identify challenges, improve processes, and develop technology-driven solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure successful system enhancements and implementations.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and system specifications.
- Support ERP implementation, optimization, and customization initiatives, with a focus on integrated manufacturing systems.
- Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics tools to support business decision-making.
- Analyze data using SQL queries and reporting tools to identify trends, resolve issues, and provide actionable insights.
- Support testing efforts by creating test plans, executing testing, documenting results, and coordinating issue resolution.
- Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, workflows, and training materials.
- Partner with users to support adoption of new processes, applications, and technology solutions.
- Assist with project planning, implementation activities, and business case analysis.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing to business users and team members.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting ERP or integrated manufacturing system implementations.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write queries, analyze data, and develop reports.
- Experience with database concepts, stored procedures, and functions preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience managing projects, coordinating timelines, and driving initiatives to completion.
