Your Role on Our Team
Under the direction of the Procurement leadership team, the Commodity Analyst supports sourcing and purchasing strategies through category spend analysis, supplier performance tracking, market research, and cost evaluation. This role is responsible for supporting RFQ/RFP processes, maintaining sourcing data, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing recommendations are aligned with quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements.
This position is ideal for a highly analytical, organized, and proactive professional who is beginning to build sourcing, commodity, and supplier management expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
- Analyze category spend and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency, and supplier optimization.
- Support the preparation and execution of RFQs/RFPs, including data collection, supplier communication, bid comparison, and analysis
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs, scorecards, and risk evaluations
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support sourcing decisions and procurement needs
- Develop cost models, should-cost analysis, and total landed cost evaluations to support sourcing recommendations.
- Track savings, PPV, and spend impact against assigned objectives.
- Maintain accurate supplier, spend, and sourcing data in ERP and procurement systems.
- Prepare reports and presentations to provide visibility to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support supplier selection and sourcing recommendations based on data, market intelligence, supplier performance, and risk.
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, data analysis, purchasing, or related field.
- Advanced English level.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of RFQ/RFP processes, spend analysis, cost drivers, supplier KPIs, and basic logistics concepts such as Incoterms and total landed cost.
- Effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, organization, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn sourcing fundamentals.
