Service Dispatcher
Who: We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Service Dispatcher to support a busy field service team.
What: You will coordinate technician schedules, dispatch service calls, communicate with customers, and ensure service requests are completed efficiently.
When: This is a full-time, permanent position with a rotating on-call schedule that includes one full work week plus weekend coverage.
Where: This is a fully onsite position located in Cumming, Georgia.

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Service Dispatcher to support daily field service operations for a growing service organization. This individual will serve as the primary point of coordination between customers and field technicians, ensuring service requests are scheduled, prioritized, and completed efficiently. Key Responsibilities

Review incoming service requests, emails, and phone calls to dispatch field technicians.

Coordinate daily technician schedules and optimize service routes.

Communicate service updates and scheduling changes with customers and technicians.

Prioritize work orders based on urgency, customer needs, and technician availability.

Monitor service activity to ensure timely completion of work orders.

Process purchase orders and assist with parts coordination.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Support technician meetings and administrative functions.

Assist with inventory tracking and special projects as assigned.

Participate in the rotating on-call dispatch schedule.
Qualifications

Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination is required.

Experience supporting field service technicians is preferred.

Excellent customer service and phone communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to prioritize multiple competing requests in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer systems.
