Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

In this role, you will manage the global accounts payable process across multiple entities and countries, overseeing supplier invoices, payments, bank reconciliations and other financial operations, while supporting payroll, VAT reporting and annual audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable global cycle, from receiving supplier invoices to approval and payment through online banking.
• Process supplier invoices via the Pivot platform, ensuring invoice lines match Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinating the approval workflow.
• Participate in preparing payment registers for all group companies and facilitate vendor and creditor payments via bank transfers.
• Reconcile bank statements with accounting records, ensuring the accuracy of incoming and outgoing payments.
• Administer company cards and perform related reconciliations.
• Coordinate the payroll process, including collecting HR platform data, liaising with the third-party payroll provider, verifying payroll calculations, and processing salary payments.
• Participate in preparing VAT returns by compiling relevant data and reviewing the accuracy of declarations.
• Coordinate the annual financial statement audit, including preparing and providing data, communicating with external auditors, and managing the audit process.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as an AP accountant
• Experience accounting and financial operations across multiple countries
• Experience participating in financial audits
• B2 Upper Intermediate English
• Proficient with Excel (Google Sheets)
