Job Description

As a Security Officer - Alarm Monitoring in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
