SSM Health Neuro Transitional CenterA Joint Venture between Select Medical and SSM HealthPosition: Regisitered DietitianLocation: O'Fallon, MOSchedule: PRN 8 hours a week - 2 four hour shifts (Flexibility for WFH 4 hours, on-site 4 hours)Compensation: $40/PRN rate
Responsibilities
Description:
- Provide dietary consultation for patients as needed, within 48 hours of order. (The dietician will not assess each patient, only patients the transdisciplinary team recommends for dietary consult.
- Menu planning (Menus are planned two weeks in advance and posted 1 week in advance.
- Plan and review menus ensuring compliance with the NTC Neuro Recovery Plate (brain-healthy diet). Consider individual patient dietary needs.
- Deliver staff and patient education on nutrition
- Time on site includes an education menu review and could consist of consults as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with major studies in Food and Nutrition related field required
- Current state licensure/certification - if required by state
- Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration required
- One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent required
