Role Summary
The Research Management Business Support Analyst supports the Americas Equity Research management team by coordinating business operations, strategic initiatives, governance processes, reporting, and data-driven decision making. Reporting to the Americas Equity Research COO, this role requires strong analytical, organizational, and relationship management skills, with the ability to execute recurring deliverables, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across a broad range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support key research management initiatives, including survey campaigns, broker vote processes, performance reporting, and departmental strategic priorities
- Collect, analyze, and report on business data, metrics, and trends; develop dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and management insights to support decision making
- Prepare, edit, and maintain executive-level presentations, reports, communications, newsletters, and meeting materials for senior leadership and department-wide initiatives
- Coordinate governance activities and other management forums; capture action items and drive follow-up activities
- Partner with Research, Sales, Compliance, Legal, Technology, HR, Corporate Access, Communications, and offshore teams to support projects, process execution, and business objectives
- Manage documentation, risk controls, approvals, and business records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal policies
- Support departmental programs and special projects, including intern programs, workflow enhancements, process improvements, and ad hoc business management activities
- Leverage technology, automation, and AI solutions to improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, a related field or equivalent years of experience
- Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and data visualization tools
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partners
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential or compliance-sensitive information
- Experience in Financial Services and/or data analysis is preferred
