Intake Director

Golden Steps ABA | Full-Time | HybridCompetitive Annual Salary: $125,000-$150,000 plus bonus 

 

Every family’s path to care begins with a conversation. Golden Steps ABA is looking for an Intake Director to make that first experience responsive, compassionate, and clear while building the team and processes needed to support a growing, multi-state organization.

In this hybrid role, you’ll lead our Intake Representatives, oversee the journey from initial inquiry through admission, and partner with teams across the business to help families access care.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach, and develop Intake Representatives.
• Oversee patient inquiries and referrals, ensuring timely follow-up and a supportive experience for families.
• Manage the intake pipeline and improve responsiveness, scheduling, and conversion.
• Use performance data to identify bottlenecks and improve workflows.
• Resolve complex intake matters and maintain accurate, consistent documentation.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, Staffing, Credentialing, Revenue Cycle Management, Marketing, Finance, and Business Intelligence to make onboarding smoother.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least three years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, patient access, intake, admissions, or customer service.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, or a related field.
• Experience coaching teams and improving operational performance.
• Confidence using metrics, Excel, and a CRM, EMR, or patient management system.
• Strong communication, sound judgment, and a commitment to the families we serve.
