About the Role:
Responsible for building the enterprise Talent Acquisition capability required to support Neurocrine's strategic growth and long-term business success. Transforms Talent Acquisition from a high-performing recruiting organization into a strategic business capability that enables the company to compete for exceptional scientific, clinical, technical, digital, commercial, and executive talent in an increasingly competitive global market. Partners closely with the CHRO, executive leadership team, and business leaders to translate business strategy, organizational capability plans, and workforce scenarios into differentiated talent acquisition strategies. Provides external talent intelligence, workforce insights, and market analytics that influence enterprise decisions, organizational planning, and long-term capability development. Combines strategic vision with operational excellence, builds high-performing teams, modernizes Talent Acquisition through AI and technology, and develops scalable recruiting capabilities that support organizational growth, transformation, and innovation._
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
Develop and execute a global Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with long-term business growth and priorities
Partner with executive leadership to anticipate workforce needs and create multi-year hiring plans
Provide labor market intelligence, competitive insights, and talent recommendations to guide business decisions
Ensure Talent Acquisition strategies support diversity, inclusion, and organizational growth
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CHRO and executive leadership on talent strategy and hiring performance
Align hiring priorities with business strategy through partnership with HR Business Partners and business leaders, including executive recruiting
Lead strategic workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and scenario-based talent planning
Build executive dashboards, talent analytics, and recruiting capacity models to support decision-making
Assess external talent markets, workforce trends, and competitive hiring practices
Lead and develop a high-performing global Talent Acquisition organization with clear performance metrics and accountability
Build best-in-class capabilities across executive recruiting, strategic sourcing, scientific recruiting, employer branding, recruiting operations, and talent intelligence
Design a scalable Talent Acquisition operating model leveraging AI, automation, and recruiting technologies to improve efficiency and quality of hire
Ensure globally compliant, inclusive hiring practices while enhancing the employer brand and candidate experience
Develop and mentor Talent Acquisition leaders while fostering trusted partnerships across the enterprise
Deliver measurable outcomes by building proactive talent pipelines, improving hiring quality and predictability, increasing recruiter productivity, and establishing Talent Acquisition as a strategic business partner

Requirements:
BS/BA degree AND 16+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition or HR leadership experience OR
Master's degree AND 14+ years of similar experience noted above
Experience leading a global Talent Acquisition function with enterprise accountability
Experience leading organizational transformation, scaling initiatives, acquisitions, or international expansion
Expertise with AI-enabled recruiting technologies and workforce analytics
Experience presenting to executive leadership and Board committees
Consistently acts as a "trusted advisor" across the company and may be recognized as an external expert
Provides strategy, vision and direction regarding issues that may have company-wide impact
Requires deep knowledge of the functional area, and broad knowledge of multiple areas, business strategies, and the company’s goals
Possesses industry-leading knowledge
Proven leadership skills and ability, including influencing Sr. Management (C-suite). Ability to effectively manage, mentor and train personnel and ability to motivate and influence personnel to achieve goals

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $243,900.00-$333,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
