Description
Description: 1st shift CNC Programmer for a leading manufacturer, providing the industry with top quality HCR and LSR rubber products.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Program CNC Vertical Milling centers for high speed milling operations using Mastercam.
- Perform high precision machining of molds and fixtures
- Revisions of existing tools as determined by Engineering
- Work as a team member and follow established procedures in a new, well equipped, fast paced tool room
- Effective communication with others
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet productivity expectations and deadlines
- Attentive to scheduling priorities as they relate to programming
- Complete Programming Checklists
- Regular and consistent Attendance
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- All other jobs requested by Supervision
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- 2 years of programming experience or equivalent.
- 2D and 3D programming experience
- Mastercam experience
- Ability to work with very tight tolerances
- Mold building knowledge/experience
- Good Communication Skills
- Highly motivated team player
