Job Summary:
Acrisure is seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst to join the Global IT Asset Management team in Grand Rapids, MI. Operating within the governance framework established by the Global IT Asset Manager, this role owns key outcomes across Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and CMDB, including data integrity, lifecycle execution, audit readiness, and reporting. The ITAM Analyst exercises independent judgment on day-to-day asset governance matters, partners with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security stakeholders, and contributes to the continuous improvement of ITAM policies, standards, and processes as Acrisure continues to grow globally.
Responsibilities:
- Own outcomes for hardware asset lifecycle execution (request, receipt, deployment, in-use, reclamation, refresh, disposal) within the HAM Procedure and approved data destruction standards, escalating lifecycle exceptions to the Global IT Asset Manager.
- Own data integrity in ServiceNow as the authoritative system of record, performing data quality reviews and partnering with stakeholders to remediate gaps, duplicates, and stale records across asset, CI, and transfer order data sets.
- Own asset reporting and analytics from ServiceNow, delivering KPI tracking, inventory accuracy, recovery and reuse rates, fulfillment SLAs, cost avoidance, and audit-ready views for leadership decision-making.
- Own day-to-day audit and compliance support (NYDFS, SOX, internal controls) by preparing evidence packages, validating asset data against discovery sources, and documenting lifecycle exceptions for review.
- Exercise independent judgment on routine governance matters such as reclamation exceptions, lifecycle ambiguities, and data remediation decisions, applying established policies (HAM, CMDB) and escalating items that fall outside delegated authority.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ITAM policies, standards, SOPs, and processes in partnership with the Global IT Asset Manager and provide input on automation and reporting enhancements.
- Partner with IT Support, Procurement, Finance, Security, and Infrastructure to support stockroom operations, procurement reconciliation, SAM and CMDB data hygiene, and adoption of ITAM governance processes across the organization.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting IT operations, asset management, or technology service teams in an enterprise environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to own data integrity and identify quality issues across large data sets.
- Demonstrated understanding of IT asset governance, lifecycle standards, and compliance support.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills with advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow or another enterprise service management platform, including report and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with ITAM, HAM, SAM, or CMDB governance frameworks and policies.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth organization.
- Exposure to regulated industries with audit and compliance requirements (e.g., NYDFS, SOX).
- Experience contributing to process improvement, automation, or policy development initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field, or 3+ years of progressive experience in IT Asset Management, IT operations, related governance, compliance, or analytical function, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications such as CHAMP, CSAM, CITAM, ITIL, or COBIT.
- Experience presenting governance, compliance, or program insights to senior leadership.
- Experience supporting global organizations with cross-regional asset and compliance complexity.
