We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide expert support for ATM hardware and related systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The role is critical in maintaining ATM performance through effective troubleshooting, proactive monitoring, and timely resolution of technical issues.
Position Summary:
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing remote and occasional onsite support for ATM hardware, diagnosing technical issues, analyzing error logs, and performing maintenance and repair activities. The role works closely with internal teams to minimize downtime, support software testing and hardware upgrades, and ensure compliance with operational and security standards. Participation in standby support activities is required to maintain continuous service availability.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Provide remote and onsite technical support (if required) for ATM hardware issues.
Analysis of ATM hardware error log and providing technical recommendations to ensure maximum uptime and availability of ATM devices.
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on ATM media and non-media handling components.
Respond promptly to customer-reported incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal service disruption.
Monitor system alerts and take proactive measures to prevent failures.
Creating technical documentation to provide guidelines and best practices.
Field readiness testing of new ATM software.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams when escalation is required.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Support in the install, configure, and upgrade of ATM hardware as needed.
Adhere to company policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Providing standby technical support on weekends/public holidays.
Basic Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Electronics, or any related field.
Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytic skills.
Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Copilot skills.
Excellent Knowledge of ATM hardware components (NCRA & ChungHo) and supporting systems.
Basic understanding of ATM software platform (XFS, ANDC, Activate).
Strong analytic skills for root cause identification via ATM hardware logs.
Previously worked in a role where ATM hardware repairs and maintenance was your key function.
Ability to work independently and manage field service tasks efficiently.
Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Basic networking knowledge (advantageous).
*Valid driver’s license and reliable owned vehicle (if onsite support is required).
