Job Description
The Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) reports to the Director of Operations. The AT is to provide clinic, community-based point of service for sports related prevention, care, coverage and rehabilitation, referral and marketing for musculoskeletal injuries and sports related ailments within a defined environment for athletes; school aged, adolescent, early adult, middle adult and late adult. Under the general supervision of the physician, physical therapist, physician assistant and or nurse practitioner.
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduate of an accredited college with a BS/BA. Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC). Certified as an Athletic Trainer in South Carolina by DHEC.
License/Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, from either the American Heart Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
