Responsibilities:
- Monitoring network security events and alerts to identify and respond to potential and active threats, ensuring robust detection capabilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct threat analyses and vulnerability assessments, developing solutions to mitigate risks
- Refining incident response protocols and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and organizational security policies
- Engaging in continuous learning to maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging cybersecurity threats and defensive technologies
- Evaluating and enhancing security configurations for systems and networks, recommending improvements to prevent future incidents
- Assisting with security audits, risk analysis, and penetration testing, utilizing reverse engineering techniques when necessary
- Conducting After Action Reviews to improve response processes, including the update of incident response playbooks
- Participating in the development and implementation of countermeasures, system integration, and tools specific to Cyber Security Operations
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
