Job Summary

An Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the matching of supplier invoices, investigating discrepancies and issuing payments.

Key Accountabilities

• Picking up incoming mail for sorting and distribution and dropping off outgoing mail
• Matching payments to customer accounts
• Preparing daily deposit
• Preparation and filing of daily reports
• Assist credit in maintaining customer accounts on sub-ledger
• Matching receiving reports to suppliers invoice
• Resolving open A/P items as well as A/R issues
• Entering and maintaining A/R customer master data in company database (SAP)
• Filing of reports, cheques, processed vouchers
• Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• High school education
• 1 year experience in similar position
• General computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Ability to communicate, either written or verbal, in a knowledgeable, clear and positive manner.

Preferred Requirements:

• Degree from a 2 year college program

Job Compensation

$50,000 to $58,000
