As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work directly inside enterprise customer environments, designing and shipping production AI systems from architecture through deployment. You'll combine full-stack engineering, cloud infrastructure, client collaboration, and AI product development while solving some of the most challenging enterprise AI problems in production.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI applications for Fortune 500 enterprise customers
• Build production-ready agentic AI workflows using modern LLM technologies
• Architect full-stack applications spanning frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and AI services
• Rapidly understand unfamiliar enterprise codebases and ship production-quality software
• Design scalable cloud-native architectures across AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Build intelligent automation systems leveraging Claude, OpenAI, Cursor, Codex, and modern AI development tools
• Partner directly with CIOs, CTOs, engineering leadership, and executive stakeholders to solve high-impact business problems
• Develop production AI systems that continue operating successfully after deployment
• Collaborate closely with AI Strategists and engineering teams to scope, architect, and execute enterprise AI initiatives
• Own technical delivery from discovery through production launch
• Write high-quality production software across frontend, backend, APIs, infrastructure, and AI integrations
• Rapidly prototype and deploy new AI capabilities in a fast-moving startup environment

Ideal Candidate Background

Experience Requirements

• 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience shipping production software end-to-end
• Experience building full-stack applications in production environments
• Experience operating within startup or high-growth engineering organizations
• Experience working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong ownership mentality with demonstrated engineering execution
• Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional stakeholders strongly preferred
• Experience building AI-enabled products or intelligent automation systems preferred
• Previous startup experience strongly preferred over exclusively enterprise backgrounds
• Founder, founding engineer, CTO, or early engineering experience is highly valued

Technical Requirements

• Strong full-stack software engineering fundamentals
• Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure
• Strong backend software engineering expertise
• Experience designing scalable APIs and production web applications
• Experience deploying production software independently
• Familiarity with modern AI development tools including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar platforms
• Experience building AI agents, LLM applications, or intelligent workflows preferred
• Strong software architecture and systems design capability
• Experience integrating cloud infrastructure with production applications
• Comfortable rapidly learning unfamiliar technologies and enterprise environments

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical discipline preferred
• Strong software engineering background with demonstrated product development expertise
