Description

Summary:

This role manages end‑to‑end property control in compliance with government regulations, maintaining records, conducting audits, coordinating material disposition, and supporting policy implementation. It also oversees tracking systems for intellectual property and machining/fabrication requests, maintains the tooling database, and performs related duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government, subcontractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations and/or corporate policy per 49 CFR.
  • Maintains property accountability records and assists in figuring out condition and arranges disposal of surplus, excess, or obsolete material or equipment.
  • Conducts internal and external property audits; provides mentorship on government regulations pertaining to property accountability.
  • Maintains an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts.
  • Recommends and implements property administration policy and procedure.
  • Identifies government property issues and participates in developing solutions.
  • Prepares periodic and special purpose reports.
  • Maintain tracking system for all intellectual property delivered to the Government.
  • Disposition incoming general machining/fabrication requests to appropriate vendor or on-site machine shop.
  • Maintain tracking system of all general machining/fabrication requests.
  • Implement and maintain PacSci tooling database.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business, Contract Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 1-3 years of DoD experience handling Government Property preferred.
  • Ability to perform a variety of general tactical duties as the need arises to support property management activities.
  • Must have strong PC skills and be proficient with Excel, Word, etc.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proactive, diligent and a self-starter.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Hard-working, self-motivated and possesses a positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to perform optimally within aggressive deadlines. Ability to prioritize and work with minimum supervision and be persistent in follow-through.

Bonus or Equity

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 58500.00-108500.00

Is this role subject to ITAR?

The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations.
