The Opportunity
At AFS, Business Analysts play a key role in understanding business needs, mapping processes, and supporting technology-enabled solutions across the organization. This role is ideal for individuals with a broad academic background who demonstrate strong analytical thinking, curiosity about technology, and an interest in working with data and light coding.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with business teams to document current processes, identify pain points, and define future-state workflows
- Analyze data sets to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
- Support requirements gathering and translate business needs into clear functional specifications
- Collaborate with technical teams to test, validate, and implement solutions
- Assist in developing dashboards, metrics, and reports to support operational decision-making
- Maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to standards and best practices
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Liberal Arts, STEM or related field, with demonstrated interest or coursework in data analytics, information systems, coding, or digital tools, with graduation by August 31, 2027.
- Strong academic track record (3.2+ cumulative GPA) from a 4-year accredited institution.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, AI, and innovation
- U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
- Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with using AI tools to research and solve business and technology challenges
- Comfortable working with data and exploring unfamiliar systems
- Enjoy problem-solving and finding practical solutions
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Adaptable, collaborative, and detail‑oriented

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
