As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
