Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Assist with access control activities by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
