Job Description

As a Security Officer ID Badger in Ecorse, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring visitor and employee access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while using computer or tablet-based systems and communicating clearly with team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; maintain accurate logs for visitors, contractors, deliveries, and access-related activity.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, the facility perimeter, and assigned industrial areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Profficent with microsoft applications
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. buit not required
• Previous experience with access control system such as lenel a plus
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
