YOUR MISSION
Translate retail partner briefs, commercial opportunities, and account strategies into compelling, on-brand footwear concepts and product variations
Design Sportstyle footwear with a strong focus on Color & Materials for the SMU and key account business
Create footwear concepts, colorways, renderings, material maps, Tech Packs, and account presentations to support the product creation and development process
Create proactive seasonal design proposals, colorways, material executions, graphics, and storytelling tailored to strategic accounts and targeted consumers
Identify and execute relevant color, material, and finish trends that drive commercial success across key accounts and markets
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, and cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and successful project execution
Review prototypes and samples to ensure the final product reflects the original design intent and meets commercial objectives
Deliver projects in line with the PUMA development calendar and account milestones
Conduct market, consumer, fashion, and sneaker trend research to identify new opportunities for account-specific product creation and business growth
Participate in market visits, consumer research activities, and inspiration trips to gather insights and fuel future product concepts.
YOUR TALENT
At least 3-4 years of work experience in Footwear Design, Color & Materials Design, or a related role within the sportswear, footwear, or lifestyle industry
Strong knowledge of Sport Lifestyle industry, fabrics, and new industry technologies
Experience creating commercial footwear products and account-specific executions within the sportstyle or lifestyle market
Strong design talent with an excellent eye for color, materials, trends, and consumer-relevant storytelling
Team-player mentality with a proactive and collaborative approach
Additional experience in Footwear Product Design is considered a plus
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with digital or 3D design tools is a plus
Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Very good verbal and written English skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Design, Footwear Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
