Arendt Regulatory & Consulting (ARC) is Arendt’s dedicated regulatory consulting arm composed of diverse and experienced professionals with a strong background in regulatory and business consultancy.

Our 120 experts offer regulatory consulting and advisory services and assistance to an international and sophisticated client base across multiple industries. This includes a range of services from the classic regulatory consulting, working with funds, their asset managers and asset servicers on the practical implementation of rules and regulations, to topics such as risk management, fund distribution, fund governance, and compliance of Luxembourg regulated entities.

ARC responds to the growing needs of clients with a practical yet legally effective approach to regulatory change management and other regulatory matters.

Given the ongoing development of our firm, we are currently recruiting:

Data Protection and Regulatory Advisor

Your role:

• Assist our clients in their data protection assignments (i.e. building records of data processing activities, drafting of policies and procedures, conduct of gap analysis, etc.) or other regulatory IT / regulatory assignments (e.g. AI Act, DORA) and provide valuable knowledge and expertise to help them ensuring the right protections and compliance standards are in place.
• Support the team in the activities related to external Data Protection Officer (DPO) mandates.
• Develop trainings in GDPR / regulatory matters.
• Ensure a permanent regulatory watch on data protection and other regulations relevant to our clients.
• Work in a motivated team, building excellent working relationships with clients and peers within the firm.

Your profile:

• You ideally have a Master/University’s degree in business administration or engineering (M1 or M2).
• You have a first successful experience in the field of data protection / regulatory advice in a similar position or a relevant exposure that you wish to increase.
• You have knowledge in the following areas: business processes, information security, control authorities practices.
• You are curious and purpose driven.
• You are fluent both written and oral in French and English. German will be considered as a strong advantage.
• You appreciate working in a highly dynamic & international environment.
• You are seen as a proactive person with good presentation and communication skills.
